About us

The UAQ Go Green Team is part of the Go Green Committee at the Applied Technology Highschool of Umm Al Quwain. We started this initiative in order to encourage responsible consumption and raise awareness of how harmful Fast Fashion is to our environment. Every year, garments are given up early and thrown out instead of recycled combined to produce massive wastage, estimated at around $500 billion. Therefore, we believe CHANGE needs to be made and we start here!
